In accordance with the GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR) rules that come into force from 25th May 2018, REBELLION FESTIVALS LTD are updating our Privacy Policy to ensure that it is clear what we do with your data and what your rights are.

REBELLION FESTIVALS have 2 key areas where we collect data:

1 -  VIA TICKET SALES

Our online shop is powered by KEEKABOO. As a processor of our ticket sales, their GDPR statement on behalf of Rebellion Festivals LTD is:

As part of the GDPR rule changes that come into force on 25th May 2018 we would like to clarify our position regarding the data we retain for you and exactly what we do with that data. When you create an account on any of our stores at www.keekaboo.co.uk or www.keekmerch.com we require that you provide us with your name, email address, shipping address and a telephone contact number. In addition to the data you save to any of our stores your public IP address is also retained for security purposes.

What we do with your information when you place an order
When you place an order your information is automatically passed to either WorldPay or PayPal depending on which option you select to make your payment. Both of these companies have their own GDPR policies which you can view using the following links:

We do not store or have any access to your payment card details at any point during your transaction. In rare circumstances customers can choose to make a payment over the phone - we do not store your payment card information in any form.

When you place an order that requires shipping your information is automatically passed to Royal Mail. Royal Mail have their own GDPR policy which you can view using the following link:

What we do with your information after your order has been placed
The information you provide us with and also details of previous orders are stored on encrypted secure servers. We need to retain that information to allow us to keep your account open, and also so you can view the information we have stored for your account. We have access to the information we have stored for you except for your user password which is encrypted separately – we do not have access to your chosen user password at any stage.

OTHER OUTLETS

Should you purchase event tickets from other outlets then you will need to refer to those companies for their GDPR policy statements.

2 -  VIA OUR WEBSITE / NEWSLETTER

Our NEWSLETTER is only available for people that OPT IN. We will not add anyone manually to our mailing list. The list is powered by YOUR MAILING LIST PROVIDER and offers an UNSUBSCRIBE option for anyone wanting to come off the mailing list. If you unsubscribe, your email address and any other data will be permanently deleted.

Non-newsletter Subscribers:
2.1 If you are merely visiting the public areas of the Website, we do not collect any Personal Data about you. However, we may automatically collect information about your visits, such as browsing patterns. Information collected in this way does not reveal your contact details or any type of Personal Data. This information is only used in aggregate form to analyse, manage and develop the Website and is not linked to any individual.

Newsletter Subscribers and Street Teams
2.2 If you are a subscriber to our Newsletter or offer to help out with our STREET TEAMS, we will collect and hold Personal Data about you when you apply to become a subscriber. The Personal Data collected by us will include your full name, password, e-mail address. For STREET TEAMS you will also be asked to provide your area of residence.  From time to time you may also provide other Personal Data which we need to provide you with the service you request, such as your credit card details, other information about yourself, your preferences or your experiences. You may unsubscribe to the NEWSLETTER at any time. Your data is then automatically removed from our database.

3. HOW DO WE USE MEMBERS’ PERSONAL DATA?

Also, if you know of any good record shops, clothes shops etc that would put up a poster or stick flyers on their counter, please let us know or become part of the Street Team and we’ll send you some to drop in the shop yourself.
