Rebellion Festivals are excited to announce that the legendary SHAM 69 are confirmed for Rebellion. They will play on Sunday 11^th. Day tickets are available. Jimmy Pursey and Dave Parsons wrote punk rock anthems that for many are the soundtrack of a generation. We can’t wait to hear them play these classics at Rebellion. The BUZZCOCKS played the first Holidays In The Sun in 1996. After a 16 year break they returned in 2012 to play REBELLION. One of the highlights of the weekend and definitely on many peoples ‘wants’ list for this year. So we’re more than happy to confirm that there’s no need for another 16 year wait!! Jello Biafra and The Guantanamo School Of Medicine make a welcome return to Blackpool for this years REBELLION FESTIVAL. One of the highlights of 2011 the former Dead Kennedys frontman made a lot of new friends with an explosive set. The band has a unique sound which they describe as having “some of the the spy-music-on-meth chaos of the DK’s while adding a healthy dose of Detroit style proto-punk mixed with layers of sonic guitar noise, and Weiss’ industrial excursions into metal percussion.” Make sure you witness their set – you’ll not be disappointed!

Here’s one many of you have been waiting for. The COCKNEY REJECTS are back to play REBELLION 2013.

The East End band that started a genre with their cries of Oi Oi Oi are currently ripping up cinemas around the UK with their no-nonsense and brutally honest documentary EAST END BABYLON. Always a bundle of energy on stage, the Rejects put many younger bands in their place when it comes to putting on a live show. No retro stuff here! Full on, in your face, punk rock.

If you haven’t seen their new film, go and see it, if you haven’t bought their new album go and buy it and if you haven’t seent them live for a while then grab your ticket to see them at the main event for PUNK – REBELLION FESTIVALS, THE EMPRESS BALLROOM – BLACKPOOL.

2013 sees a return of Street Punk legends COCK SPARRER. They are one of the most requested bands we get, year in year out and so we’re delighted to confirm that Blackpool 2013 will be a Sparrer year! Warm your voices up with a few beers – it’s going to be a good old singalong! This year has seen the band celebrate their 40th year with a busier schedule than usual. However next year this will be their only UK show so if you want to see them ‘at home’ then Rebellion is the only place to be!
