Rebellion Festivals is the largest INDEPENDENT Punk / Alternative music festival in the world. Over 4 days every August in Blackpool, the very best in Punk gather for the social event of the year. Many treat it as a main holiday and come every year so there is a very familiar feel to the weekend and it's like one big family - all 4000 of us! All forms of punk are represented with Anarcho bands playing alongside '77 Punks groups on the same bill as Oi bands sharing the same stage as UK82 style bands who are appearing with Street Punk outfits next to the new breed of young punk bands coming through etc etc.....! We also have an acoustic stage and an alternative stage BIZARRE BAZAAR which has comedy, burleque dancing and a variety of other entertainment........Oh yeah, and there is PUNK ROCK BINGO!

Yes and No! - It is run by Darren Russell - Smith who promoted HITS and WASTED but Rebellion Festivals has evolved to include a wider range of bands at a bigger event and more people are involved in making this happen. It is still 100% INDEPENDENT with no big (or small!!) sponsors propping up the gig. It's just about the bands and the fans

An A-Z list for Bands playing is on the BANDS page on this site. We can not confirm which day a band is playing on until all bands are booked and the days / stages have been sorted out. We will then update the BANDS page to show, DAYS, STAGES and TIMES. Until this is up on the site it is not possible to tell you what bands play on a particular day.

Blackpool is a busy UK seaside resort and has many Hotels, Bed & Breakfasts and Guest Houses.

There are lots of hotels and inexpensive Bed and Breakfasts in Blackpool many of which are adjacent to the venue (check out Albert Road and Adelaide Street).  At the moment there is no camping facilities however this is being looked at.  If there was camping however it would be quite a distance from the venue.

Yes the show is all ages. Children under 12 are free but must be accompanied by parent/guardian.

There is a free childrens area for smaller children (up to age 10 approx) - children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Cameras for personal use are permitted in the venues. The public are not allowed to take photo's from the pit and no professional photographers or photography will be allowed without prior permission.

We are not an outdoor festival so we dont really have many jobs going. If we have anything available we will advertise on the site. However, we always need people to help flyer gigs and spread the word online. So if you would like to join our street team, please email lardycox@hotmail.com.
