Public Image Limited (PiL) are confirmed as the HEADLINE band for Saturday night in the Empress Ballroom. After fronting the Sex PistolsJohn Lydon formed post-punk originators Public Image Ltd in 1978. “PiL” continued until 1992 with an ever-changing line-up and unique sound which saw them fuse Rock, Pop, Dance, Folk, Ballet and Dub. Widely regarded as one of the most innovative bands of all time their music and vision earned them 5 UK Top 20 Singles and 5 UK Top 20 Albums. Lydon will be joined by former PiL members Lu Edmonds (guitar), Bruce Smith (drums) along with 2009 recruit Scott Firth (bass).

A packed Empress Ballroom will be the perfect venue to see Public Image play this year and there will be a warm welcome from the Rebellion family for Lydon, the man who managed to create the punk movement and post punk movement in an astonishing few years of creativity and originality and remains one of the most intoxicating characters and musically awake musicians out there.

We’re really excited to confirm that BOW WOW WOW will be appearing at next years festival. Expect African and Latin infused rhythms from one of the front runners of the NEW WAVE scene. Famously put together by Malcolm McLaren, the band soon established their own identity with their unique sound. We’re really pleased to confirm that the legendary ONLY ONES will be appearing at next years REBELLION. Can’t wait to hear their songs played in front of the Rebellion faithful. Unique, catchy and perfectly formed songs – Peter Perrett has such an amazing voice. New to the Rebellion family, this is another band that have never played before.

We are happy to announce our first headline band for Rebellion 2012……. And its Rancid!!!

They will be headling the Sunday in the Empress Ballroom – we can’t think of a better way of closing the 2012 festival.

We’re really happy that after 16 years of having them on our ‘wants’ list, they are finally going to be playing REBELLION. They’re a band that we’re constantly asked to book, so we know that we’ve just made quite a few people very happy indeed!!

Early Ticket Prices are still available. However these are limited to only 1500 tickets available at just £95 (inc VAT) for all 4 days. Once they’ve gone the price will rise. The cut off point for the next ticket price is 31st October regardless.

One of the founding bands of hardcore Punk, Canadian band DOA are our latest addition.

Canadian Punk Rockers SNFU are confirmed for next year! The band are a major influence on the Skate Punk crowd and were key players in the Hardcore scene the sprung up in the mid 1980s.

We’re pleased that we can again keep representing all genres of Punk at Rebellion.

We’re pleased to confirm that seminal 80′s band ZERO BOYS will be appearing at next years REBELLION.

Their debut album “Vicious Circle”, released in 1982 is an era defining record that captured the freshness of the US scene. Can’t wait to see them rip up Rebellion.
